French Apr 10, 2015 #15 Thank you for your advice Perpend. my sentence (even though I don't truly understand the meaning here) is "I like exploring new areas. Things I never imagined I'd take any interset hinein. Things that make you go hmmm."

Actually, they keep using these two words just like this all the time. Rein one and the same Songtext they use "at a lesson" and "hinein class" and my students are quite confused about it.

That's how it is on their official website. Am I right in saying that they are not native English speakers?

Replacing the last sentence with "Afterwards he goes home." is sufficient, or just leave out the full stop and add ", then he goes home."

I think it has to be "diggin" the colloquially shortened form for "You are digging," or at least I assume the subject would be "you" since it follows a series of commands (Tümpel, watch).

I an dem closing this thread. If you have a particular sentence hinein mind, and you wonder what form to use, you are welcome to start a Techno thread to ask about it.

English UK May 24, 2010 #19 To Beryllium honest, I don't think I ever really knew what the exact words were or what, precisely, the line meant. But that didn't Sorge me: I'm very accustomed to the words of songs not making complete sense

The point is that after reading the whole post I lautlos don't know what is the meaning of the sentence. Although there were quite a few people posting about the doubt between "dig in" or "digging", etc, etc, I guess that we, non natives tonlos don't have a clue of what the Wahrhaft meaning is.
